Service Manager – Lead the Charge at Tri County Equipment!

What You’ll Do

  • Lead an Amazing Team
  • Assign daily tasks based on each team member’s strengths.
  • Recrui and grow talented technicians and support staff.
  • Provide coaching, reviews, and training opportunities.
  • Build a positive, motivated, high-performance service department.
  • Deliver Exceptional Service
  • Champion our service processes and ensure every customer gets top-tier treatment.
  • Review work orders for accuracy, clarity, and completeness.
  • Keep tools, equipment, and service vehicles organized and ready.
  • Make sure every repair is done right — and right on time.
  • Drive Sales & Build Customer Relationships
  • Monitor monthly service sales and help meet or exceed goals.
  • Help shape and execute the Corporate Service Marketing Plan.
  • Host customer clinics, field days, and other events to build trust and loyalty.
  • Improve Efficiency & Profitability
  • Maintain strong expense control while pushing profitable service growth.
  • Analyze internal reports to spot trends and opportunities.
  • Continuously look for ways to improve workflow, customer satisfaction, and team performance.

What You Bring to the Team

Experience

3+ years in service department operations with proven leadership success.

Skills

  • Strong communication — friendly, clear, and confident.
  • Able to read, analyze, and act on service reports and performance data.
  • Excellent customer service skills, both internal and external.
  • Familiarity with John Deere and competitive equipment is a big plus.
  • Comfortable with Microsoft Office and online tools.
  • A team-first mindset with a passion for developing people.
  • Willing to work extended hours or weekends when needed.
  • Driven, organized, and committed to outstanding service.
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
