Service Manager - Bad Axe

Purpose

Manages service labor sales, EX: Opens and closes repair orders for customer and dealership owned equipment.  Accounts for tech time and parts on repair orders for accurate billing. Interacts with customers on needed repairs or maintenace.

Responsibilities

Reviews work orders for completeness and accuracy prior to customer billing

Shares best practices and implementing common processes throughout the Service Department.

Ensures all departmental tools, equipment, and vehicles are in good working order

Experience, Education and Skills

High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.

2-3 Year experince in clerical/billing prefered (EX Medical, Customer)

Knowledge of Outdoor Power Equipment would be beneficial.

Ability to lead others effectively.

Ability to use standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions.

Ability to speak effectively one-on-one and within a group.

Excellent customer service skills.

Ability to think strategically and solve problems.

Verbal and nonverbal communication skills.
