What You’ll Do
- Represent Tri County Equipment in Your Territory
- Build strong, long-term relationships with farmers, landowners, and businesses.
- Become the go-to resource for equipment questions, updates, and solutions.
- Help Customers Find the Right Equipment
- Sell new and used agricultural and turf equipment throughout your assigned area.
- Understand each customer’s operation and recommend the best fit for their needs.
- Conduct field demonstrations to showcase product performance and capabilities.
- Stay Ahead of the Market
- Keep up with equipment features, benefits, options, and financing programs.
- Monitor competitive products and share insights with management.
- Stay on top of changes in local farming trends and communicate what you learn.
- Follow a Proven Sales Process
- Maintain accurate customer information and sales notes.
- Prepare quotes, evaluate trades (if trained), and help customers navigate financing.
- Support customer events, clinics, field days, and outreach efforts.
- Continue to Learn & Grow
- Attend sales training sessions and manufacturer events.
Expand your knowledge of farm equipment, technology, and customer needs.
What You Bring
Experience
- 1+ years of ag or equipment sales experience preferred (but not required for the right person!)
- Knowledge
- Familiarity with farm equipment, turf equipment, or agricultural practices is a strong plus.
- Strong relationship-building and customer service abilities
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office and online sales tools
- Ability to analyze basic sales reports and stay organized
- Willingness to work flexible hours based on customer needs
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required
